Adelita Atkinson, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021.
Adelita Atkinson was born to Felix Buentello and Virginia Chapa in Brownsville, Texas. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Adelita Atkinson was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Virginia Buentello and is survived by her loving husband Rene Atkinson Sr., and their son Rene Atkinson Jr. Also, to treasure many memories are her 5 grandchildren Krystal Renee Atkinson, Rene Alfonso Atkinson, Edgar Uriah Atkinson, Ezar Ulijah Atkinson, Adriel Brook Atkinson, and great-grandson Adrian Rene Ibarra; and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 12 PM to 9 PM on Tuesday, July 13th, 2021, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost. Visitation will resume at 8:15 AM to 9:30 AM on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
