Brownsville- Alicia Alvarez 81, passed away on Saturday November 10, 2018 at Amara Hospice In Edinburg, Tx.

Mrs. Alvarez was born on February 3, 1937 to Rosendo Valles & Maria Coronado in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Mrs. Alvarez is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Rodolfo Alvarez, her daughter Juliet Sheik Rezaie; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Alicia is survived by her daughters: Violet Saldana (Johnny), Alma Resendez, Nancy Ponce (Norberto), Belinda Garcia (JB); her grandchildren: Roberto D. Nieto, Vanessa Zamarripa, Eric Ramirez, Nathaneal I Resendez, Caleb B. Resendez, Krystal D. Gonzalez, A. Krixelle Ponce, Marco A. Chapa, Andreah Chapa, Jonah Garcia, Izaiah Garcia; 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 5 pm to 9 pm with Prayer Service at 6 pm. Funeral Services are scheduled on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Trevino Funeral Home Southmost of Brownsville.
