Anselma Gavaldon

Anselma Gavaldon, 90, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Anselma was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends, but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memories are her daughter: Maria Guadalupe Pereyra (Eduardo); her grandchildren: Claudia Pereyra (Nick), Eduardo Pereyra Jr. (Sarai), Jose Manuel Pereyra and Cesar Pereyra; she will also be great missed by her great grandchildren: Camila Madeleine Pereyra, Ana Sophia Pereyra, and Emily Raine Pereyra.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost, 1955 Southmost Rd. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2308 E. Tyler St., Brownsville, Texas 78520. Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mc Davitt Blvd.
