Carmen Muñiz

Mr. Carmen Muñiz was called by his Lord and Savior to his presence on May 8th, 2021 at the age of 94.

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 72 years Maria Angelica Muñiz, his first-born daughter Gloria Muñiz, his son Juan T. Muñiz, parents Eduardo and Augustina Muñiz, siblings Roberto Gregorio, Aniceto, Victor, Ruben, Melquiades, and Benita.

He is survived by sons Genaro (Becky) Muñiz, Rey (Alicia) Muñiz, Daughters Gloria (Glen) Streetly Raquel Lopez, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nina Beltran and Acencion Mendez.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 with a prayer service 7 p.m. Visitation resumes from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 with a funeral scheduled at 2 p.m. at El Siloe Apostolic Assembly located at 2854 Jessica Street in Brownsville, Texas 78521. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Honored to be Mr. Muñiz pallbearers are; Genaro, Ray, Marky, JP, Rick, Michael, Alex and Johnny.
