Christina Salinas

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Christina Salinas, 29, at her residence on Sunday, May 14, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ruben and Consuelo Galvan; her maternal uncle: Alberto Dunes; her paternal uncles: Nieves Salinas and Luis Salinas; and her paternal aunts: Delia Salinas and Fela Salinas.
Christina is survived by her parents; Nicanor Salinas and Rosario Salinas, her siblings; Nicoles Salinas (Mary Jo Garcia) and Crystal Salinas, Maternal uncles; Ruben Galvan Jr (Bertha), Roberto Galvan (Rachel), and Ricardo Galvan; Maternal aunts: Rosemary Gonzalez (Jaime), Rosaura Flores, and Consuelo G. Gracia. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Christina will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Serenity at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Holy Family Parish at 10:00 a.m., 2308 East Tyler, Brownsville, Texas. Interment to follow at 1p.m. at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 S. Inspiration Rd., Mission, TX 78572 where she will receive full military honors at graveside.
