Francisca Benavides

Francisca O. Benavides, 95, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 30, 2019, in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Francisca was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends, but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Benavidez and her son Eleazar Benavidez.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memories are her children: Juan Benavidez, Guadalupe (Amparo) Benavidez, Rodolfo (Angela) Benavidez, Maria Carmen (Timoteo) Ayala, Jose Luis (Jael) Benavidez, Maria Luisa (Juan) Gomez, Beatriz (Paul) Robertson, and Mario (Maria del Lourdes) Benavidez. She will also be greatly missed by her 21 grandchildren. Numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost 1955 Southmost Rd. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 3, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral 1218 E. Jefferson St. with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
