Gabriel Moreno

Gabriel Moreno, born on December 20, 1971, in Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully in Brownsville, Texas, on January 14, 2025. He is remembered for his lively spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering perseverance throughout life's challenges. Gabriel's strength of character left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Modesta Cristina Moreno, children: Gabriel Moreno Jr., Cristian Moreno, Cristopher Abel Moreno and his grandson, Romeo Azriel Moreno. He also leaves behind his parents: Maria Luisa Moreno and Raynaldo Moreno, his sister, Norma Alicia Moreno, and brother, Daniel Moreno, along with other relatives who cherished him deeply.

Gabriel was preceded in death by his brother, Rogelio Moreno, who will also be remembered fondly.

A series of services to honor Gabriel's life will be held at Trevino Funeral Home located at 1955 Southmost Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM on the same day. Visitation will continue Wednesday, January 22, 2025, starting at 8:15 AM until 1:00 PM, with a chapel service at 1:00 PM. Gabriel will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Guillen Community Cemetery, Inc. at 2:00 PM.
