Brownsville- Hortencia E. Rodriguez, 74, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 2, 1942 in San Fernando, Tamps, Mexico. to Juan Carlos Escobedo & Ester Castillo Escobedo.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Jose Coronado Rodriguez and her brother Oscar Escobedo.
She is survived by her sons Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Jose Luis Rodriguez; her brothers Norberto Escobedo; her sister Eglentina E. Quintanilla; her granddaughters Lindsey Rodriguez and Sherry Rodriguez.
Visitation for Mrs. Rodriguez is scheduled for today,Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Funeral Service are under the direction of Trevino Funeral Home Southmost of Brownsville.
