Javier Rodriguez

Javier Rodriguez, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully in Brownsville, Texas, on February 3, 2025. Born on February 5, 1976, Javier brought joy to those who knew him and he had a gift for making people smile.

Javier loved spending time with his family and having cookouts. He enjoyed playing his accordion, watching football games and wrestling. 

He is survived by his mother, Maria Dolores Rodriguez, and his siblings: Adriana Mendoza, Carlos (Anabel) Rodriguez Jr., Roberto (Julie) Rodriguez, Esmeralda Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Karla Rodriguez, Korina Rodriguez, and nieces and nephews: Brenda Lynn Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez III, Joanna Njie, Jorge Luis Rodriguez, Jeanette Reyes, Cristian Rodriguez, Crystal Rodriguez, Cristy Rodriguez, Kayla Ibarra, Samantha Alondra Ibarra, Karla Rodriguez, Kimberly Garcia, Karlette Garcia, Kendra Garcia, Destiny Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez Jr., Brandon Rodriguez, Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, Abigail Deseray Garcia, Cassandra Rodriguez, Ashlen Brielle Camacho, Julissa Rodriguez, Adriana Marie Rivera, Amanda Martinez, Jacob Rios, Jorge Carlos Martinez, Jayden Martinez, Javier Martinez Jr.. They, along with many other loved ones, will remember him fondly for his kind spirit and the warmth he brought to their lives.

Javier is now reunited with his father, Carlos Rodriguez; brother, Crispin Rodriguez; and paternal grandfather, Manuel Rodriguez, who have all preceded him in death. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

A visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, located at 1955 Southmost Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 8:15 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a chapel service at 2:00 PM. Javier will be laid to rest at Buena Vista Burial Park at 1024 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, at 3:00 PM on the same day.

As we gather to honor Javier Rodriguez, may he rest in eternal peace, and may the memories of his vibrant life bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
