Jorge De La Fuente Sr.

Jorge de la Fuente Sr., 91, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 11, 2019, at Alta Vista Nursing Home in Brownsville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alicia de la Fuente.

Jorge de la Fuente Sr. is survived by his eight children: Juan de la Fuente, Oralia de la Fuente, Jorge de la Fuente, Jose de la Fuente, Ofelia Lino, Jesus (Alicia) de la Fuente, Javier (Maria) de la Fuente, and Joel de la Fuente. He will also be dearly missed by numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost, 1955 Southmost Rd. A funeral mass will be held  on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan St., Brownsville, Texas 78521. All services to conclude on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 with cremation to follow.
