Jose Elemer Martinez, 74 of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on Saturday May 10, 2014 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his immediate family.

He was born on January 25, 1940 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas Mexico and is presently survived by his Wife: Elena Martinez, 1 Daughter: Sylvia Pedro Ramirez, 3 Sons: Jose E. Martinez, Jr., Raul Carmen Martinez, and Daniel Rachel Martinez.

10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. 4 Siblings: Conrado Martinez, Irma Martinez, Aurelia Martinez, and Benita De La Cruz.

Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his Parents: Manuel and Olegaria De La Cruz Martinez.
