Josefa Valle Alvarado

Josefa Valle Alvarado passed peacefully to her eternal life on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of eighty-five years old.

Josefa was born in Mexico on August 27, 1937, to her parents Carlos Valle, and Aurora Reyna.

She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.

Josefa is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos Valle†, and Aurora Reyna†, her loving husband, Valentin Alvarado†, brothers, Jesus Valle†, Juan Valle†, Isidro Valle†, Adan Valle†, Remigio Valle†, and sister, Olivia Valle†.  

Left to cherish her memory are her seven children, Jose Luis (San Juana) Alvarado, Juan Antonio (Marina) Alvarado, Mario Alfredo (Amelia) Alvarado, Bella Aurora Alvarado, Maria Isabel Alvarado, Valentin (Maria) Alvarado, Viviana Alvarado as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and relatives and friends.  

A service in her honor will take place at Treviño Funeral Home-Southmost of Brownsville, Texas on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2:00 pm. to 9:00 pm with visitation to continue Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Guillen Community Cemetery, 9055 Boca Chica Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.
