Julian Melendez

BROWNSVILLE - Julian Dale Melendez 1, passed away on July 28, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his brother Ricardo Melendez III.

He is survived by his parents Mr. Ricardo Melendez Jr. & Juana Lucia Melendez; his brother Marco Antonio Melendez; his paternal grandparents Mr. Ricardo Melendez Sr. & Lucilla Melendez; his maternal grandparents Mr. Jose Antonio Villarreal & Francisca Villarreal; paternal aunts Priscilla M. Melendez & Maria G. Melendez; paternal uncles Virgilio Melendez; maternal aunts Veronica Villarreal & Irma Hernandez; numerous cousins.

Julian was a true warrior and overcame every battle that came his way. He loved playing with dirt and playing soccer and also watching The 5 Little Monkeys.

Visitation will be today, Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. with a holy rosary recited at 7 p.m at Trevino Funeral Home- Southmost. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church and burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
