Lilia Martinez

Brownsville, Texas- Lilia Salazar Martinez, 88, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 10, 1928 in Mexico to Mr. Catarino Martinez & Leonides Lopez.
She is preceded in death by her parents; parents that raised her Eleno Salazar & San Juana Martinez; her bothers Cruz Martinez, Rufino Martinez, Margarito Martinez; her sister Hortencia Martinez; and a granddaughter Griselda Fuentes.
Lilia is survived by her son Gerardo Salazar; her daughter Maria J. Fuentes; her brothers David Martinez, Pablo Martinez, Manuel Martinez, Ignacio Martinez; her sisters Alicia Carinhas & Pureza Martinez; her grandchildren Lilia Fuentes, Juan Fuentes & Cristina Fuentes and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for Lilia is scheduled for Friday, August 4, 2017 from 11 am to 9 pm. with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost.
Mrs. Salazar Martinez will be cremated and be buried at a later date.
