Maria Cervantes

Brownsville- Maria Dolores Zuniga Cervantes, 51, passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
She was born on November 27, 1965 to Mr. Tomas Ruiz and Mrs. Carmen Zuniga in Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her mother.
Mrs. Cervantes is survived by her loving husband Jesus Cervantes; her sons Jesus Cervantes Jr. & Juan Carlos Reyes; her daughter Azuzena Cervantes; her father; her sisters Norma Zuniga, Dora Zuniga & Griselda Ruiz; and 5 Grandchildren.
Mrs. Cervantes will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation for Mrs. Cervantes is scheduled for Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Services will conclude that evening for Mrs. Cervantes.
Mrs. Cervantes will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Trevino Funeral Home Southmost of Brownsville.
