Maria Muñiz

Maria Angelica Muñiz was called by her Lord and savior to his presence on December 23, 2018 at the age of 87.

She was a God-fearing woman that gave her life to Jesus in 1957. She was very much loved by her family and her family meant everything to her as well. Her only hobby was her cooking, there was always food in her kitchen. She enjoyed making food for her family. She was happy as long as everyone was eating around her table.

She was preceded in death by her parents Federico Torres and Genoveva Vento, her son, Juan T. Muñiz, and her first born daughter, Gloria Muñiz.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Carmen Muñiz; her sons: Genaro (Becky), Rey (Alicia); her daughters: Gloria (Glenn), Raquel Lopez; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Treviño Funeral Home Southmost from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m.

A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
