Maria Salazar

Maria Isabel Salazar, 69, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mrs. Salazar is survived by her husband Julian Salazar; two sons: Hector D. Salazar (Yokuo) and Deivi Salazar (Griselda); four daughters: Maria Guadalupe Salazar (Hugo), Maria Isabel Salazar, Martha Salazar ( Edgar Sanchez), and Maria Bertha Cuevas (Juan); two brothers: Cruz Armendariz and Felipe Armendariz; sister: Guadalupe Armendariz: and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation for Maria will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost , 1955 Southmost Rd., Brownsville, TX.

Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson St., Brownsville, Texas with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
