On Friday, February 28, 2020 Maria De Jesus Silva, loving mother of 3 children, passed away at the age of 73.
Maria was born on December 25, 1946 in Brownsville, Texas to Hermenejildo Rodriguez and Maria Medrano. She served and worked roughly 10 years as an office manager at Christ The King Catholic Church.
Maria is preceded in death by her loving husband Luis Gonzalez Silva, sisters; Teodora and Irma Rodriguez, brother; Jose Rodriguez and her parents; Hermenejildo and Maria. She is survived by her brother; Agapito Rodriguez, three children; Laura Silva, Luis Abraham (Nelly) Silva and Lynn Anette (Juan Francisco) Zamora. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue through 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 01, 2020, in the Chapel of Serenity at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 02, 2020 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church 26445 Tulipan St, Brownsville, TX. Interment services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
