Maria Jesus Torres, 85, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 09, 2019, Texas City , TX surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends, but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Simon Guerrero and Trinidad Castillo her beloved husband; Manuel Torres and her brother; Frutoso Guerrero.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memories are her children: Diana Moran, Juan Manuel Torres, Jaime Torres, Joel Torres. Her brothers: Guillermo Guerrero and Costantino Guerrero.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., at Treviño Funeral Home Southmost 1955 Southmost Rd. Mass of resurrection will be held at noon on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
