Maria De Guadalupe Velasquez, 87 of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Mrs. Velasquez was born on June 17, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas to Antonio Velasquez and Maria Perez.

Mrs. Velasquez is presently survived by his 8 Children: Rafael Reyes, Maria Jasso, Jesus Aguilar, Maria Ochoa, Maria Medina, Sonia Aguilar, Alma Longoria, Nancy Nino and 30 Grandchildren and various Great Grandchildren and also survived by 2 Sisters: Carmela Sanchez, Felipa Padilla and her Brother: Salvador Delgado.

The viewing and visitation will begin today Friday, June 27, 2014 in our Chapel of Devotion from 9:00am to 9:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm, visitation will resume on Saturday, June 28, 2014 as of 8:00am to 2:00pm with a Chapel Service: at 2:00pm in our Chapel of Devotion. Interment will follow to Guillen Cemetery at 9055 Boca Chica Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521.
