Martha Zayas Salazar entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Martha Salazar was born on July 9, 1953, to her loving parents in Mexico.

Martha Zayas Salazar is preceded in death by her loving parents† and brother, Adan Santoya†.

Martha Zayas Salazar is survived by her two sisters, Antonia Salazar and Manuela Villafana, as well as extended family and friends.

Martha enjoyed gardening, sewing, making desserts, doing crafts and having conversations in beautiful weather. She loved everyone that came into her life, especially her dogs. Her beautiful spirit and love will be felt for centuries by all the loved ones she leaves behind.

Visitation in her honor will take place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home-Southmost Rd., Brownsville, TX. Cremation to follow.
