Ninfa Lara

Brownsville, Texas - Ninfa Lara, 76, born on August 29, 1941, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 in Brownsville, Texas.

She dedicated her adult life to taking care of her mother and then focused on taking care of her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ninfa is survived by her brother, Agripino Lara; nieces and nephews Francisco Lara, Eduviges Casas, Agripino Lara, Jr., Guillermina Garza, Mirta Calvillo, and Aaron Lara.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home Southmost Chapel of Serenity. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2255 Southmost Road, Brownsville, Texas. Burial will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
