Olga S. Stevens, 73 of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest in Philadelphia, Pa. on Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born in Los Fresnos, Texas on June 10, 1942.
Olga attended grade school in Los Fresnos and graduated from Brownsville High School. She went on to work for the Brownsville Police Dept and later working for Union Carbide at the Port of Brownsville. She returned to Law Enforcement working for the Cameron County Sheriff Department under Sheriff Alex Perez, Sheriff Conrado Cantu and Sheriff Omar Lucio where she retired as a Deputy Sheriff. After retiring from the Cameron County Sheriff Department, which she enjoyed dearly, she spent her time traveling to visit her two sons and grandchildren, who were her joy in life. Olga was loved by many friends inside and outside of her community. She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed tremendously by all. Olga left behind a legacy of true sincerity towards all with a big heart and peacefully humble.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her Father: Juan Soto, her 2 Moms: Rita T. Soto and Aurora Mendoza, her Daughter: Patricia Ann Stevens, and her Brother: Benigno Rodriguez.
Mrs. Stevens is survived by her Spouse: Harry James Stevens Sr., 2 Sons: Harry James (Azalea) Stevens Jr., Harold William (Martha) Stevens, 9 Grandchildren: Juan Garza, Jacqueline Garza, Isaiah Stevens, Nicholas Ryan Stevens, Derek Mathew Stevens, Hannah Jillian Stevens, Harry James Stevens III, Jordan Delaine Stevens, and Samantha Jade Reyes, 3 Great Grandchildren: Jazmine McKenzie Reyes, Charles Carter Duncan, Julian Nabor Garza and 5 Siblings: Ramona Lopez, Robert (Alicia) Soto, Joe Ceasar (Maria) Soto, Yolanda (Santos) Gomez and Veronica Enriquez.
Honored to serve as her Pallbearers will be: Harry James Stevens III, Juan Nabor Garza, Nicholas Ryan Stevens, Derek Mathew Stevens, Joe C. Soto and Santos Gomez and her 3 Honorary Pallbearers will be: Harry James Stevens, Sr., Harry James Stevens, Jr., Harold William Stevens.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, August 1, 2015 11:00am to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm. A Chapel will be at 12:00pm on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in our Chapel of Devotion. All service will conclude after chapel service.
