Ramiro Gonzalez

Ramiro Gonzalez entered into eternal rest on August 19th, 2020 at the age of sixty-nine years old in Harlingen, Texas.

Ramiro was born in 1950 to Guadalupe and Herminia G. Gonzalez in Mexico. He was a strong and loving husband, the best father, grandfather and a friend. He will always be in our hearts and will never forget the advice to guide us in the right direction.

Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 48 years of marriage Arminda Gonzalez; their two sons and a daughter, Ramiro Gonzalez Jr. and his wife Nora, Omar Gonzalez, Jessica Longoria and her husband Alfonso. Also, to treasure many memories are his seven granddaughters, extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Treviño Funeral Home Southmost. Visitation resumes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, August 24th, 2020 with a funeral mass scheduled at 3 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
