Ramiro Treviño

Ramiro C. Treviño, 69, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 14, 2018, in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family.

Ramiro was born to Ramiro Treviño Rodriguez and Maria del Refugio Cisneros Treviño in Matamoros, Tamps. Ramiro was a very serviceable person. He was always there to help out anyone that needed help. Ramiro loved to fish on his spare time. He also loved to sing, dance, and party but most of all he loved to drink his "heladitas" cold ones. He was the best husband, father, grandfather and father-in law we have ever known. Ramiro was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him

He was preceded in death by his parents; Ramiro Treviño Rodriguez and Maria del Refugio Cisneros Treviño; and his sister, Juanita Treviño Cisneros.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Lupita Treviño; and his son Roberto (Veronica) Treviño; his grand-daughter: Marissa Alejandra Treviño; seven brothers: Sandalio (Natividad) Treviño, Abelardo (Elisa) Treviño, Humberto Treviño, Jose Luis Treviño, Manuel (Martha) Treviño, Arturo Treviño, Martin (Dora) Treviño; three sisters: Elvia (Cecilio+) Gauna, Lupe Treviño, and Mary Allala. Numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost. Funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eugene De Mazenod Parish, 5409 Austin Rd. Brownsville, Texas 78521. Interment to follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
