Ramon Montoya entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2021 at the age of forty-five.
Ramon was born to Alberto and Inocencia R. Montoya in 1975 in Brownsville, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of Brownsville and raised his family with his wife Alicia Cedillo Montoya. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Alberto Montoya; his brother Eduardo Montoya and is survived by his mother Inocencia Rodriguez; his loving wife Alicia C. Montoya; their daughter Valerie Cortinas (and her husband Luis) and their son Ramon Jay Montoya Jr. Also, to treasure many memories are his two siblings; Alberto Montoya Jr. and his wife Blanca, Graciela Garza and her husband Jesus Hector and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 with the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Devotion of Treviño Funeral Home Southmost. Visitation resumes from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 with a Funeral Mass scheduled at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 1200 Lincoln Street in Brownsville, TX 78521. Rite to committal to follow at Guillen Cemetery located at 9055 Boca Chica Blvd. in Brownsville, TX 78521.
