Ramon Zuniga

Ramon S. Zuniga, 63, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen surrounded by his loving family.

Ramon was born to Jesus Zuniga and Angelina Sanchez in Mexico. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Mr. Zuniga was preceded in death by his wife, Nestora Zuniga; and by his parents.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Ramon are his only son, Ramon Zuniga (Araceli); daughters Carolina Zuniga (Martin Villegas), Gisela Zuniga, Delia Zuniga (Julio Avila), and Diana Zuniga (Damian Esparza); brother, Alvaro Zuniga; sisters, Concepcion Martinez and Loudres Rodriguez; and by 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary service to begin at 7 p.m., at Trevino Funeral Home-Southmost Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
