Sonia Gonzalez

Sonia Luna Gonzalez 86, born on June 23, 1936, in Mexico passed to her eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday February 4, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas.

Sonia will be remembered for her love of family gatherings, playing loteria, and her immense love she held for all she knew.

and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her son, Rogelio Gonzalez†.

She is survived by her loving grandchildren; Denise Gonzalez, Desiree Gonzalez, Justin Macias, and her two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Ramirez, and Jazmyn Ramirez as well as numerous extended family members.

Public visitation will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Visitation will resume Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 8:15 am to 2:30 pm with graveside services at 3:00 pm Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd. in Brownsville, Texas.
