Tomas Martinez

Tomas A. Martinez, 60, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family.

Tomas was born to Efren Martinez and Irene M. Martinez in Cardenas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Tomas was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him. His favorite phrase was "Don't worry about it."

He was preceded in death by his wife; Irene Martinez and his parents; Efren Martinez and Irene M. Martinez.

He is survived by his son; Tomas (Andrea) Martinez Jr. and his two daughters: Yadi (Shelly) Martinez and Cristina Martinez (Frank Fuentes); his two grandkids; Josh Camacho and Leia Fuentes; Two brothers: Abelino (Griselda) Martinez and Norberto (Alma G.) Martinez. His beloved dogs; Bella, Junior, and Enano. Nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018. A Chapel Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Southmost on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mc Davitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78521.
